This is a good idea, as anyone who has a child that has outgrown their baby swing and misses it. However, this product is much smaller than the age range indicates (it says 1-4 years). A more appropriate age would be 6 or 9 months to 18 months. Let me explain, my 8 month old fits the swing perfectly right now, but there are only a few inches from his feet to the floor and his head is at the top of the swing.
